Carole Kirschner is a veteran television executive, career coach, and industry educator with decades of experience shaping careers in Hollywood. She began her career as a stand-up comic before transitioning into the entertainment industry, where she rose from assistant to senior-level creative executive. She worked at CBS Comedy and later served as Vice President of Amblin Television under Steven Spielberg.

After leaving studio life to achieve a better work-life balance,


Carole built a second career as a consultant and mentor, creating some of the industry’s most respected professional development programs. She founded the CBS Diversity Writers Mentoring Program (now the Paramount Writers Mentoring Program), which has helped launch the careers of over 140 television writers. She also co-developed and has led the Writers Guild of America Showrunner Training Program for more than 20 years, preparing experienced writers to step into leadership roles as showrunners.


As a career coach, Carole works one-on-one with writers, producers, directors, and executives at every stage—from emerging talent to established showrunners—helping them navigate the complexities of the entertainment industry with tailored strategies. She is also a sought-after speaker, presenting at studios, networks, universities, and film festivals worldwide.


Carole is the author of Hollywood Game Plan, a practical guide for breaking into the industry, and the creator of Hollywood Boot Camp, an online course designed to prepare aspiring professionals for careers in film and television. She also leads an exclusive, invitation-only pitching workshop, drawing on her experience hearing thousands of pitches from top industry talent.


Through her coaching, teaching, and writing, Carole has become a trusted voice in Hollywood career development, known for helping creatives turn ambition into sustainable success.
